Ally Venable Band
Ally Venable Band
A powerhouse from the Lone Star State, the Ally Venable Band has ignited excitement in the Modern Blues Scene. Lead vocalists and guitarist, Ally Venable, started singing at an early age in church and then in recent years picked up the guitar and found her passion establishing herself as a Texas Blues Guitar Slinger. Ally’s songwriting and onstage performance, proves that she packs a punch.

She has received many awards including the 2014 and 2015 "Female Guitarist of the Year ", three time winner of "Blues Band of the Year", "Album of the Year"- ETX Music Awards 2017.

Guitar Player Magazine stated that," "Venable pulls off a stunner of gritty and/or sultry blues-rock tunes embellished with lots of tasty guitar solos."

Each of Ally’s band mates are versatile on multiple instruments. As Bassist, Bobby Wallace is a master at his craft and his years of experience enhance the band. Drummer, Elijah Owings, brings a steady, but dynamic sound to the band. He is the backbone of their rockin’ blues sound.

Ally’s recent release ‘Puppet Show’ deputed at #7 on the Billboard Blues Charts, and continues to represent the future of the blues.
The Cody Blackbird Band
The Cody Blackbird Band
The Cody Blackbird Band, Produced by 36 year band veteran Kenny Lee Lewis of the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Steve Miller Band, is an Alter-Native Rock Fusion Experience. Raw, honest, organic, indigenous. The Cody Blackbird Band sets themselves apart from many of the pop-rock Indie bands that are in the musical marketplace today. Indigenous (Dakota, Cherokee, Romani gypsy) brothers Cody and Caleb Blackbird set out to form a group that honors the sacred music of their ancestors, while infusing the revolution of rock and R&B into their unique style. The 60s psychedelic guitar sounds of Will Benjamin add a throwback texture that brings to mind the groups of the late 60s playing at the Fillmore Auditorium.

Cody’s voice ranges from the subtle intimacies of soft heartfelt poetry, to the rough-edged sound of an experienced classic blues-rock powerhouse. The songwriting style of CBB is reminiscent of the early days of The Doors, The Animals, Canned Heat and Redbone, but also newer artists like Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews and even The Goo Goo Dolls come to mind while experiencing the music of CBB. Pulling oneself up from the ashes, romantic poetry, overcoming depression, the positive calling for a universal tribe, realizing your dreams, cannabis awareness, all these subject matters are reflected in the lyrical writing of CBB. The band was awarded “Group of the Year” at the NAMMYS in 2017 which is a testament to where this band is heading.

The Cody Blackbird Band has built a strong fan base over the years internationally and are a well seasoned touring act who have performed all over the world and shared the bill with such artists as The Black Eyed Peas, RedBone, The Wailers, John Trudell, and were honored to play a stop on the last run of the legendary Vans Warped Tour
