In a world of curated images, likes and followers, true connection has been lost. It’s what isn’t shown, the subtext in between the moments shared that is most important.

Join us for a night dedicated to rediscovering the importance of true human connection through the power of music, comedy and conversation. Let’s start to remove the stigma surrounding mental health by simply asking…

Crystalle Ramey
Crystalle Ramey
Based in Charlotte, NC, Crystalle took a comedy class several years ago to overcome a fear of microphones, onset by a debilitating experience on a Middle School talent show that left her running off stage, crying for her mommy. Although she no longer fears microphones, she still confidently cries for her mommy after every show. #therapy

She's a Marine Corps Veteran and will tell you about it. She produces a comedy tour (The 22 Tour) dedicated to leverage the healing power of laughter to put an end to the 22 (daily) military suicides. The tour showcases all veteran comedians and is nationwide. www.The22Tour.com
David Rhames
David Rhames
Dave Rhames left the Charlotte music scene in 2004 to join the Army Reserve at the age of 32. Abandoning what some say was his most promising creative period, Rhames felt the pull of something bigger than himself. In 2005 he was deployed to Afghanistan for a year to clear roads of IEDs. He would tell you it was the most rewarding year of his life but some of his buddies still struggle with witnessing terrible things. Now, after ten years without performing, he is returning to stages around the region to sing his powerful rustic songs of hope, family, introspection, joy, pain, and of course that life changing year at war.
