Find Your Muse Open Mic
Find Your Muse Open Mic
Find Your Muse Open Mic is Charlotte's premier open mic night. Each week we feature a special guest performer from around the region. Come out and see some of the area's best up & coming talent perform their latest original tunes. Always a fun time, hosted by the semi-hilarious Mr. Erik Button. Look forward to the start of a great Monday night at 7:30pm as you are greeted by the rest of our FYM team; Aaaaron at the door, Donniebaseball behind the bar serving up cold ones, and Normal Dennis doing his best at making it all sound great from behind the board. Sign ups are at 7:45, so come out and get your time slot.
Jesse Haman
Jesse Haman
Jesse Harman is a songwriter born and raised in the wetlands that are the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He grew up working around fishing boats and helping out at his parents bar in the small beach town of Ocean City.

After high school, Jesse moved to St Augustine, Florida and formed the West King String Band (Harman being on upright bass) with long time friends AJ Fox and Jack Studer, a bluegrass/folk/country outfit that continues to tour around 200 days a year.

While off the road with WKSB, Jesse Harman calls the mountains along the Tennessee-Carolina border his home. His solo work could be described as a much more personal view of Harman’s take on life than his work with the full band. His songs being littered with foggy recollections of the far fetched stories that come with a life on the road, whether it be memories of his short career as a carney or traveling with a band. He prefers to focus on memories that have the appeal of being “dark yet funny”. Topics that come about in his songs range from memories of childhood days spent surfing or fishing, failed romance, and a deep appreciation for animals and nature as well as delicious barbecue.
