Stevie Tombstone
Stevie Tombstone
After a chance meeting with Roy Acuff, Stevie (then, a young man) was certain he would always be a musician. Georgia born relation of the legendary fiddler Clayton McMichen,Stevie immersed himself in the world of rock and the underground music scene of the 80s in Atlanta but never lost the twang of his childhood. Almost three decades later, he has become an accomplished performer and songwriter and guitarist as well as a seminal part of the Atlanta and Austin Music Scenes. He now hangs his hat in Western North Carolina.

Stevie has now released five solo albums and half a dozen music videos, besides his published works with his 1980s swamp swampabilly band, The Tombstones. The Tombstones song” Nobody” was became a college radio anthem and was later recorded by rock icon Stiv Bator. His debut full length release 730 AM received great reviews and airplay besides offering tracks that peaked on the Satellite Radio charts and featuring performances by members of Wilco, Jason and the Scorchers, The Bad Livers and the Georgia Satellites. After several comps and EPs his 2011 Release Greenwood reintroduced Stevie to the Americana and folk listeners with his autobiographical tale about his journey to Greenwood with Bluesman Johnny Shines and Ju Ju Hounds guitarist Rick Richards and the trios attempt to mark the grave of then unhonored Robert Johnson.

Tombstone’s band mates and co conspirators , over the years, have been a veritable whos who of underground and nationally recognized players,. Priding himself in his ability to cross genres, he has also had the honor of sharing the bill with the likes of Leon Russell, the Stray Cats, Greg Allman, Willie Nelson, Drive By Truckers, Johnny Bush & the Ramones, just to name a few. Besides producing and writing for other artists Stevie still Performs over 200 nights a year enjoying a grassroots following that's kept him on the trail for the last 3 decades. His latest release On the Line is available now and enjoying growing airplay .
Drunken Prayer
Drunken Prayer
Morgan Geer is the American songwriter behind Drunken Prayer, and current guitar player for iconic alt-country goths, Freakwater. Recently Morgan has been touring internationally with The Handsome Family.

Over the past two years Drunken Prayer has played hundreds of shows across 18 countries and 15 US states in venues like the Pickathon Music Festival and San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall. Geer’s music has been featured on AMC, NPR, WFMU and SiriusXM.

Drunken Prayer will likely bring to mind The Band for a lot of listeners, with the sense of history and tradition. But Geer’s songs and his singing often suggest a kinship with artists like Bobby Charles or Doug Sahm, musicians with Southern roots, with a yip and break to their voices, and notes of sadness offset by a sense of humor.

On Drunken Prayer’s latest release, The Devil and The Blues, Geer teamed up with members of The Reigning Sound and The Sadies to lead another journey through America’s weird musical heritage.

The new Drunken Prayer album, Cordelia, Elsewhere, mixed by Mitch Easter (REM), will be officially released in March 2019. “The Elsewhere Tour” will bring Drunken Prayer up and down both US coasts and across the country, spanning 50+ cities.
