Jason Hausman & The Shallow Sea
Jason Hausman & The Shallow Sea
Hausman started gigging in Indiana as a singer/drummer in his early teens and cut his teeth as a front man/guitarist in the late 80’s and 90’s NC music scene with Blue Mongoose and The Hausman Syndicate. He has shared the stage with Don Dixon, Edwin McCain, Dillon Fence, Ben Folds Five, Fuel, Herbie Mann, Larry Coryell, Steve Rothery and more.

Jason dove into his career as a TV/Film composer and sound designer in 1999. During this time he performed live with his band godmanradio, who also backed him up on his solo EP release Hollow in 2003. After starting his own custom music company Hot Sake in late 2004, Jason took a break from the stage until joining Chris Smith’s project Sunshone Still in 2011, which culminated in the release of The Way The World Dies.

Fast forward to today and we find a multi EMMY winning composer, whose work has been featured in Super Bowl ads, video games, and on networks/brands like Discovery, Sony Pictures, Carmax, Bojangles’, ESPN, and who continues to release various albums and singles. These range from the post-rock EP Failure 2014 (featuring friend and legendary guitarist Steve Rothery of Marillion, Matt Postle on trumpet and Mr So & So/Panic Room guitarist, Dave Foster) to film score-esgue ambient works like Increase + Decrease 2016. Jason is also gearing up to release singles with his Alt Hip-Hop project The Bodacious Wicked.
Mirror Man
Mirror Man
Charlotte, North Carolina's Mirror Man is a Psychedelic pop 3 piece that sounds like if you stumbled into Johnny Marr's bedroom and caught him strumming along to his favorite Kinks and Beach Boy albums while the upstairs neighbor had the Buzzcocks blasting at 11.
