All Organic Comedy Show & Open Mic! Part Open Mic, Part Show, All Organic... The All Organic Comedy Show is a NEW, monthly comedy open mic at The Evening Muse.

A comedy open-mic/show hybrid in a cozy room with all the beer and wine you will need to find it funny. Hosted by your certified Comedy Open Mic Host, Jake Manning, this open mic is a great place for all comedians, both novice and experienced, to try out new jokes, polish up old ones, avoid expensive psychiatric bills, or just hang out and enjoy the show.

This month's FEATURE PERFORMER is actually our good friend and former regular at our award winning "Find Your Muse" Open Mic; Jason B. The All Organic Open Mic is very lucky to have Mr. B returning to the warm and friendly confines of the Muse during his visit back east.

Josh Cocks (yes, that’s his real name) began his career nearly 8 years ago in Bloomington, IN where he was a regular feature at The Comedy Attic before making the move to Chicago. He’s a regular at several midwest clubs such as Go Bananas in Cincinnati, The Laughing Derby in Louisville, Morty’s Comedy Joint in Indianapolis, and The Laugh Factory in Chicago. He has been featured at The Limestone Comedy Festival, Arch City Comedy Festival, Laughing Derby Comedy Festival and Cincinnati's BrewHAHA Comedy Festival. Most importantly Josh likes you and says nice things about you when you’re not around.

Jake Manning is a pro wrestler, podcaster and a stand up comedian. Much like the title of his podcast Jake feels like a "Stranger in a Southern Land" because he moved to Charlotte for a 3 month internship that has now turned into a 10 plus year residency. Jake is able to articulate why he constantly feels like a visitor in a city that he calls home. His feelings of awkwardness are also expressed when he talks about his misadventures in love, his missteps in the world of performance art and his tales of wrestling as a over grown boy scout known as the "Man Scout" Jake Manning.
