Cry Baby

“Taking boy bands and slow jams seriously, Cry Baby produces heavy hitting R&B out of their home studio in Charleston, SC. They not only capture beloved sounds from 90’s and early 2000’s radio music, but bring their own creativity and energy to the table. They set out to make every show a party, each song fit for dancing.

Playing in various acts around Charleston, punk rockers, singer-songwriters, and jazz artists make up the melting pot that is Cry Baby. Remembering groups like Mint Condition, *NSYNC, or Destiny's Child, the band has given them an outlet to produce music that soundtracked their own lives with a firm belief that everybody wants to have a fun show.”

Whitehall

“Whitehall is an indie rock four-piece from Charleston, SC. They merge a dancey demeanor with an insatiable desire for more out of life, making for an incredibly energetic and heart opening live experience. When they aren’t shotgunning La Croix, Whitehall tours the east coast. Thanks for reading this, we didn’t think you would.”

“I dare you to find a group of guys who has as much fun doing what they love as the members of Whitehall. What really strikes me about the band is that they were completely involved in the environment, bouncing energy off of each other in a way that radiates good vibes. The band does not have a weak member, and somehow they all manage to stand out without ever outshining one another.” - Iman Qatawi, Extra Chill

“As the press release notes, it “truly is a Charleston creation” from the recording, the vibe of the song, and the label it’s being released on, Real South Records.” - David Stringer, Scene SC

Charles Walker

Hailing from the mountains of Boone, North Carolina, Charles Walker first emerged in 2017 with the Whole Again EP, a collection of songs reflecting influences from both modern emo and the classic alt-country records that define the region. The EP showcases a rare duality in an artist that cut his teeth in songwriter rounds and coffee shops, before building his fanbase at DIY house shows and clubs across the country.

Walker’s lyrics, often self-reflections on insecurity and relationships, have touched audiences throughout the Eastern US as he’s toured extensively in support of the EP. In 2018, Walker and Atlanta native Ben Trickey released a split 7” record through the Anthem Breath label, and once again he travelled the southeast serenading audiences with a rotating cast of musicians. Walker recently finished recording his first full-length album, set to release in 2020.
