Bright Light Bright Light is Welsh-born, NYC residing Rod Thomas who is a pop culture-obsessed artist hugely influenced by 80s and 90s cinema. As an independent artist he has toured with Cher, Ellie Goulding and John Grant, and toured AND recorded with Sir Elton John, Erasure and Scissor Sisters. Equally inspired by Kim Cattrall and Grace Jones, his effervescent and colourful pop music has taken him into the Billboard and UK album charts, won fans of some of his favourite musicians, and won him a slot as the only unsigned artist in history to perform on Graham Norton's BBC One TV show.

Aside from making music, Rod is a DJ who runs the Time Out recommended 'Romy & Michele's Saturday Afternoon Tea Party' at Alan Cumming's bar in NYC, has remixed Erasure and Bananarama, and has composed for many independent film and TV project including Mark Gatiss' 'Queers' TV series marking the 50th anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality in the UK. He's also worked with many LGBTQ+ charities helping to raise money and awareness for causes close to his heart.
