FAQ

1. HOW DO I BOOK A SHOW AT THE MUSE?

If you are sending a booking request (original music) please email info@eveningmuse.com with the following information:

Dates & Times requested

Solo or Full Band

Recent hard-ticketed headline shows (& tickets sold)

Show history in the Charlotte area

Approx. attendance anticipated for a live show at the Muse

Website/socials and live and recorded video and music links.

While we review every request, if you are an up-and-coming act, we strongly encourage you to network with established acts to schedule a show opening for them or let us know if you see a compatible act that might be interested in your support. Keep in mind that headliners are usually looking for someone with a history in the area, and the ability to bring in 15-20.

Due to the high volume of requests, we might not get to all the EPKs submitted, so setting up a show with an established act is the best way to get your first show here, or to schedule a return date more quickly. You should also come to our weekly Monday night Open Mics to get seen and heard by a large audience, as well as our staff members.

We book about 3 months in advance.

2. IS THIS AN ALL AGES VENUE?

Unless otherwise posted, most of our shows welcome all ages. However, on occasion we might have a performance that requires 18+ due to the adult nature of the content. Some of the comedy shows might fall under this category. We will post on our website if the show is 18+, or adult supervision suggested.

3. IS THERE SEATING?

Some of our shows will have the chairs down, occasionally with guaranteed seating, (which will be noted on the website link for that show), some of the shows are standing only, and some have a combination. This is determined by the performers prior to the show, sometimes not until their arrival. Some artists prefer the quiet intimacy of a seated audience, and some want the audience up close, participating, and occasionally dancing. All scenarios can be extremely enjoyable and make for an entertaining, emotional, and sometimes magical, experience. We encourage you to take advantage of all show types.

GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING IS ON A FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED BASIS. There are times when the room is very full, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee a seat per ticket purchase. The exception is when a show has guaranteed seats sold in advance. These limited number of seats usually sell out quickly, so be sure to follow and check our website, and follow our socials for low ticket alerts.

Yes. We provide a wide variety of locally brewed beers, soft drinks and a full line of liquors mixed by our friendly bartenders.

8. CAN I MEET THE BAND?

Most all the artists welcome the opportunity for a meet and greet with their fans following their performance. This is a great way to say hello, possibly get a photograph and of course most importantly, to buy their merchandise. We want them to be able to keep touring and return to the Muse!
